PROJECT: Getting to know the UK

Throughout this Spring term, Grade 4 students have been carrying out a project which mainly revolved around the UK. We have linked the didactic units to this theme and come up with some posters as part of the final task pupils had to accomplish for this project. In addition, they had to sit a quiz about the UK where they had the chance to answer different a wide range of questions.

COMPARING RIGA AND ERASMUS TOWNS/CITIES

Students in Grade 6 have carried out a project where they had to draw up a comparison between their own city, Riga, and the other towns/cities which are taking part in our Erasmus+ project. They carried out a number of activities like a Venn diagram which was then the prelude to come up with their own piece of writing. They also had to researched the temperature in Riga and in the other towns/cities and reflect those results on a chart.
